Modern Slavery Statement
The U.K. Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the "Act") requires certain businesses to prepare and publish an annual Modern Slavery Statement setting out the efforts undertaken during the fiscal year, and those that are ongoing, to ensure and demonstrate that slavery and human trafficking are not present in their own businesses or in any of their supply chains.
ELSEWHEN LTD. (“Elsewhen”, “we”, “us” or “our”), including employees at all levels, directors, officers, agency workers, seconded workers, volunteers, agents, contractors and suppliers, acknowledges its responsibilities in relation to tackling modern slavery and commits to complying with the provisions in the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We understand that this requires an ongoing review of both its internal practices in relation to our labour force and, additionally, our supply chains.
1. About Elsewhen and our supply chain
Elsewhen is a London-based digital product and service design consultancy trusted by FTSE 100 and S&P 500 companies. Elsewhen commits to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within its business and supply chain. We do not enter into business with any other organisation, in the United Kingdom or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to involve itself in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.
2. Policies in relation to slavery and human trafficking
In general, Elsewhen considers its exposure to slavery and human trafficking to be relatively limited. Nonetheless, we have outlined a Modern Slavery policy, in our Staff Handbook, to ensure that such practices do not take place in its business nor the business of any organisation that supplies goods and/or services to it. Elsewhen employees must ensure that they have read, understood and comply with this policy at all times. The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chains is the responsibility of all those working for us or under our control.
Elsewhen also has policies in place within our organisation that contribute to combatting modern slavery and human trafficking. Through our whistleblowing policy, all staff at Elsewhen are also empowered and protected when exposing wrongdoing. Our Staff Handbook also outlines other relevant policies, including:

3. Implementing our policies
Over the next financial year, Elsewhen will continue to combat anti-slavery and human trafficking throughout the business and supply chain:
Provide awareness training to staff as appropriate on the Modern Slavery Act 2015
Ensure considerations of modern slavery risks and prevention are added to our policy review process as an employer
Ensure that staff involved in third party procurement and recruitment of employees are fully briefed on modern slavery and ethical employment practices
Perform appropriate due diligence on our supply chain.
